Feeding my family good, healthy food has become a priority (some may say an obsession) of mine.
In my constantly busy and often chaotic world, it's one of the things that I want to assure and promise my family; that I will always provide them with nourishing food no matter how hectic our lives become.
I recognize that food is the basis of energy, health, development and peace. In my journey of figuring out exactly what this has meant, "feeding my family good healthy food", I've come across a number of fantastic resources and have learned the value of simple food. Vegetables, fruits, herbs, simple grains, etc... We try our hardest to practice a plant-based diet.
And while I want to abide by this simplicity, the problem is, I love flavor! I love flavorful food, indulgent of spices and sauces.
Lucky for me, I find fresh ingredients to be truly beautiful and it makes me excited to indulge in their natural flavors.
Therefore, my quest has become to combine these 2 disciplines of food by making meals that revolve around flavor and simplicity!
